This useful tool has been created by the Franz Liszt Piano Center, to help you to uncover the age and history of your piano.
Numerous piano manufacturers have closed or been sold over the years, and it is common practice for the 'Brand' or recognised name to be sold, if it was well known or respected. A good example being Broadwood pianos.
Because of these changes a different company may have actually manufactured your piano using the original brand name. The Piano Atlas will highlight the actual manufacturer of your piano based on its name and serial number.
